In order to lead a successful life at work and home, we need to always have a positive mindset and powerful skill sets. At times, people find they are missing one or both, either by not having the knowledge or skills to begin with, or by picking up bad habits over time. This is where Peck Training Group can help. Q. “What is a Personal/Business Coach?”
A. Part consultant, part motivational expert, part trainer, part friend, part cheerleader, part nag. The coach seeks to do for your life and work what a personal fitness trainer does for your body. You learn powerful mindsets, uncover your potential, and apply effective skills and tools to consistently implement over time, all the while being held accountable for your improvements.

Q. “Who needs a Coach?”
A. Smart, educated people who want to make radical changes. People who want to bridge the gap between where they are NOW in life and work, and where they want to BE in life and work. Coaching aides them in achieving their goals with less frustration and in less time.

Q. “What is the difference between coaching and counseling?”
A. Counseling is analyzing the ‘why’ of the past, Coaching is determining the ‘how’ of the future. Coaching is action-oriented, solution-oriented, concentrates on forward motion.

Q. “How will a coach identify what I need to work on?”
A. In addition to several personality and goals assessments, the entire first session will consist of the coach asking lots and lots of questions. In this session, we can quickly determine where you are in life, where you want to be and what is the gap that’s keeping you from attaining your goals.
